Hit Radio N1 / New Logo - What do you think

Flabrea

Hi there,

Nurembergs (Bavaria, Germany) radio station HIT RADIO N1 communicates with a new designed logo from now on. What do you think?

This is the new one:

This is the old one:

No. HIT RADIO N1 is not an 80s station. Their playlist consists of todays hits in pop, hip hop & r’n’b. Their listeners age ranges from 12 to 30... yes...

So, what do you think?

Best, Frederick

I think it looks great! It is appropriate for the demographics and the type of music they play. It is a very nice looking logo. My only critique is that the spaces between “RADIO N1” and “N1 92.9” are very close together, while the space in “HIT RADIO” appear looser. Otherwise, well done!

Way better than the old one, which seems busy and cluttered ... one of those logos that looks great for a week or two, and then grows cloying. The new logo might have a longer lifespan (although radio stations tend to change their visual identity about as frequently as they change station managers.)
