I have a client that needs the virgin america logo, I have the Virgin logo, but the america is done in a font simular to hemi-head yet not quite, I have included a link, can some one ID the "america" font in this logo?
http://www.virginamerica.com/va/images/logo_VA.gif
Thanks in advance
I believe it's a custom face for Virgin
is it bauer?
Take a look here... (Same subject in an old Typophile thread.)
bauer comes close but if you notice, the "a"'s are more rounded than bauer and the "i"'s have dot's where bauer does not.
The other thread deals with same company, but the font they use for that other logo in that thread is not the same as this one, Virgin is like the Walmart of company's, putting their name on everything from records to fuzzy slippers.
