viva LAS VEGAS - what fonts would you use...

Flabrea

...if you have to design a logo for restaurants, bars, clubs based in Vegas?

What fonts are typical for vegas? Besides those you find here: http://www.houseind.com/index.php?page=showfont&id=27

thx. floyd.

FontBros has a lot of fonts that might suit you as well. Such as Astigmatic’s Digital Disco

Thanks Tiffany, also don’t forget our Casino Buffet Font Set at the Font Diner . . .

And a little tease to our friends at Typophile that the sequal to this font set will be forthcoming . . .

:D

Not too imaginative on my part, but what about F U Las Vegas?

Don’t forget the Las Vegas Font kit from House Industries (always my fall-back choice for fun or quirky):

Thanks for the House Industries hint, Scott ,) (saw my post?,)

Good results at FontBros and FontDIner. I love the work from the diner guys!!!

Well don’t know who has the time and lust to “develop” some logos for sin city places.

How about redesigning some brands. Like the BELLAGIO, the ceasars, mirage, mgm, and all the others? What would you have done better? What would the bellagio logo look like if you made the race?

It seems like Trajan is the font of choice for Vegas these days (or at least 2 years ago when I was there). Requiem would evoke similar feelings of luxury but with a more robust selection of styles (and a lower case).

Personally I’d go with a light sans serif, preferably something based on classic Roman proportions.
