The Oprah Magazine body copy serif face

FirkaHimself

I need help in figuring out which typeface the magazine, ‘The Oprah Magazine’ uses for their body content as a school project. It is a serif and I have a hunch that it is very similar to Hoefler text but customized.

If anyone knows the answer or can find a similar typeface to it I would greatly appreciate it.

I suggest you post a scan of said typeface. If you want us to do the effort to hunt down that typeface, the least you can do is do the effort to post a sample. If you’re lazy, we’re lazy. ;^)

BTW Identification requests should go in the Type Identification Board for... well... obvious reasons. :^)

Here are some samples of the typeface.

“Never let them see you shine”

Yeah, it’s Hoefler Titling. Running a search first would have brought up this a lot less laborious, btw.

Thanks again. I’m new to this so everything is a learning process for me.

No problem! :°)

That’s why we’re explaining everything to you as well as we can. :^)

Welcome to Typophile, Nik, I hope you enjoy your visits.
