Chalet London 1970 similar typeface

mycorp

Hi,

Can anyone tell me a similar font to Chalet London 1970 typeface?
Thanks.

All I can think of right now is ITC Bauhaus.

The 'y' is quite different. I haven't seen a font with a similar 'y'.

If you want the exact same typeface what’s wrong with Chalet then?

Nothing is wrong really. I just wanted to know if there was another similar font. I guess this one is quite unique.

I am not sure if charachters like 'ç' or 'ã' exist in Chalet, just that.
I previewed some text on House Industries website, and those glyphs don't render correctly.

They do - House Industries made sure to give you a complete font. If you want, you can write them and double check.

The Chalet family (Chalet, Comprimé, Chalet Book) does include both the ’ç’ and the ’ã’, along with a whole host of CE characters (and Cyrillic for Chalet 1960 and 1980) for most European languages. Our lettersetter sometimes has trouble displaying some CE characters (an issue that is being resolved shortly), sorry for the confusion. If you need further information, please do not hesitate to contact us: http://www.houseind.com/index.php?page=contact
