(x) "Most Common Sexual Barriers" condensed serif on book cover - Favrile (François) {Mike Y}

rickruss

I have looked all over and can’t seem to nail this one. The “N” disqualifies every possibility I have. Anybody have any ideas of the font name?

Favrile. I think Brendel sells it under another name (of course). We’ve discussed this here before.

Yes, here is the thread. The alias name Brendel uses is Francois. This has been condensed graphically, I would say.

This font has been morphed abut 50%. You can tell by the football shaped dots.

This shows the sample of Favrile in the Serif Font ID Guide. The font was designed by Tom Carnase in 1985.

- Mike Yanega

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I would have never figured this out.

Huh? I thought football used round balls? These are shaped like rugby balls... :^P ;^)

Hehe. Only in America Yves. Everywhere else in the world fotball is fotball(Soccer - read not American fotball). The font is definetly squeezed though.

Except Canada. We call soccer “soccer”, and either Canadian or American football “football”.

Lex: Isn’t that what I said? Canada is a part of America (as in Nothern) just not a part of the US or not?;-)
