That is what I though. Some people have suggested that it is Astra-Frutiger. I am not sure...

There may well be something about the letter styles in here. I speak no German, and professionally, I was more interested in the sign designs, so this document was plenty good enough for me.

On a personal level I shall be interested to see what this thread throws up.

As far as i know it’s still DIN? Astra Frutiger is the new Swiss Road font.

Yes, it’s still DIN.
There are only two styles: DIN Mittelschrift and DIN Engschrift.

FF DIN is based on the road sign font.
