Hello,
I posted this in the SoCal Type Fanatics section, but there wasn't much response there, so I'm reposting here.
I’m looking for someone to (letterpress) print some business cards for me. I’d prefer a local company (Los Angeles, USA). It seems like Aardvark Letterpress is pretty well respected.
Does anyone recommend a different company or have any comments or advice on where to go? It doesn't necessarily have to be local, but I would prefer if it were.
Thanks!
I have a letterpress shop in Pam Springs. I print directly from type as well as from polymer plates.

I hope that Pam Springs is cooler than
Palm Springs.
Some respite is forcast for a week from Monday.
While they're a little far from you (Brooklyn), these guys do great work: http://www.coeurnoir.com/

If you go here

you will find a short list of Los Angeles based letterpress printers who will be able to help you out.

I get to work at 3 in the morning and work until sunshine flashes across the windows and then home to work on the Mac.

They're in SF, but I've heard great things about and seen very good results from Dependable Letterpress.
SF is a little far away for me to be able to go on press, but I have emailed with these folks and gotten quotes from them and found them nice to deal with.
