Font resembling Cooper Black, appr. 2-3 years old, famous designer, can you help me remember the name?

Hi,

I don't have an image of my requested font; please let me explain:

The font I am looking for is very similar to Cooper Black. It's kind of a variation of it done by a famous font designer (whose name I also can't remember). It was so close that a non-designer probably couldn't tell it from Cooper Black.

I read about this font 2 or three years ago when it was introduced, and it is available online somewhere. I don't think the name is anything similar to Cooper...

Can you name the font?

Would be just great ;-)

The closest to Cooper Black in my library is Goudy Heavyface, but it is 70 years old. Linotype Pabst is also close.
So many types to chose from and no time to know them all!

i vote oz. patrick giasson did it literally based on cooper. it's at vllg.com filed under thirstype.
