(x) Two serif fonts (rubdowns) - ITC Bookman, Goudy Oldstyle {Stephen, Nathanael Bonnell}

This is probably easy, but I don't know it.

The first thing to recognize is that you have two different typefaces in your samples. Sample 1 is a Bold Condensed Slab serif like an Egyptian, and Sample 2 looks like a normal bracketed serif, possibly Cooper or Goudy Catalogue, which have angled stress on the C like this.

I think 1 is a squooshed ITC Bookman. The serifs give it away.

2 is also Bookman. Trying to find the right cut.

Hmm, dunno anymore. Where does your rubbing come from?

I have to reproduce the signage.

Berling is the closest I can find.

Goudy maybe...

2 is definitely Goudy Old Style - bold, I think. But it sure isn't Bookman.

Where does the signage coming from?

A clients door. They want the same thing on the other side. Goudy is the correct font. Thank you for the help!!
