Hi folks,
I'm looking to find a suitable replacement for Serifa. I'm using the heaviest weight. (Serifa 75 Black)
I really like the typeface, but unfortunately I have a client that's hung up on "the heavy handed serifs"
Any suggestions on a typeface that I could use instead?
Thanks!
What’s heavy handed serifs? Is that heavy but not slab?
There are many slab-serifs I like better than Serifa.
Ceacilia?
Benton BQ is pretty Serifa-like, but i think it has a shorter x-height. But for something really different, you might take a look a Breughel...

Not seeing the Serifa on that site, Jonathan.
So are you looking for another slab (any heavy slab will have heavy serifs) or a heavy typeface from another category?
