I'm curious about the origins of the 'For Like Ever' phrase... What's the story? I feel like I should know for some reason.

i could be wrong but i read somewhere that the "FOR LIKE EVER" poster is somewhat related to Tracy Jenkin's thesis. maybe something to do with the 'discourse particle' use of "like", but i'm not sure.
