Ok i've made some changes to the piece. i reverted back to the old typeface Helvetica. and took the suggestions about the baseline and vertical bar. Let me know if any of the changes have helped out ...Thanks alot everyone

Why are the countries in the first example slightly above the participants names?
When you get toward the center of the list it becomes less clear whether they refer to the name slightl above or below it.
It has to work as a system (the two together). so i had the staggered baseline for both but i see what you mean it getts alittle muttled in the middle i just don't know how to keep that system concistant either change the participants or the programme?
