Yeah Right! handwritten script?

higashi25 February 2007 · 04:08

Hi all,

This type appears in the Yeah Right! skate video (quality not fantastic from the screen grab) — lots of variation in the letters, so I'm guessing not a typeface. Any suggestions for something similar? Or indeed if it is a typeface, the one in question?

As always, thanks for the help!

I think you're right that it is hand-drawn, but you can get a sort of similar bouncy connected script with Emmascript Bold, maybe with some horizontal stretching added.

It's not a typeface, it was hand lettered by artist Evan Hecox.

I recently gathered some of the better handwritten scripts at FontShop.

Consider also ITC Kick and Whisk Broom.

And Shameless.
