(x) Faces on sales receipts - various {gang}

anonymous

I'm hopeing some of you on typophile would be able to help me with this:

I need to find fonts that resemble fonts on your sale receipts (other than courier, letter gothic..) and a newspaper typeface (like the Mercury font designed by Hoefler Type Foundry.)

Sorry I don't have any scans to show at this moment..

Andy Clymer

the Telidon Ink family might be what you're looking for to resemble the sales receipts

Bald Condensed

There's some free fonts in that style: Cape-Arcona's
Address Unknown might do. David M. Cushman's
Receipt from Dirtfonts seems currently unavailable.

Grant Hutchinson

If you want a rough, quick-printed dot-matrix or inkjet look for the receipt font, you could look into something like the Spikee, Tickee or Yeti families from Test Pilot Collective.
