Can someone recommend a good casual script with a good amount of conditional ligatures and alternate characters? I’m considering Ed Benguiat Script from House…I don’t know who takes so much care in creating alternates like those guys (but what do I know :0)

How “casual” do you want it, Enrico? Birthday comes with an alternate set and three sets of ligatures….

Maybe not “informal” enough for you, but I love Dear Sarah Pro.

Say, that Dear Sarah looks pretty good…I’d like to consider a monoline, too, but Birthday was a little curly for the use…maybe.

The client does actually want “female” cursive…

Well, Enrico, you know that in Fresno it’s cold and foggy in winter and you can always go to San Francisco for a spaghetti dinner at Pasta Pomodoro, http://www.pastapomodoro.com

That looks tasty. Makes me want a more noodly typeface!

Veer has a lot of great script faces. You might want to browse their site for ideas.

You might like Brisa, Cenizas, or Tiza.

I started looking around after you sent me that Dear Sarah link…thanks, they have a good selection. Hard to print out some of the foundry’s selections, like the E+Fs…must be a contractual thing…

Thanks everyone!

Olicana is complete now. Veer have it, but I don’t know if it’s for sale yet.
