Rotis CE

Nitropenguin

Been looking for rotis sans serif central european everywhere.

Can't find the CE, googleing for hours now, I'd pay for it. I found some links to some random european sites that i cant understand the language of.

I need it for work. any idea where i could find it?
Does anyone have it?

Thanks.

Linotype website has an OpenType version, which supports following languages, would that be enough?

Fonts with an ISO-Adobe character set support most western languages including: Afrikaans, Basque, Breton, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Gaelic, German, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Sami, Spanish, Swahili and Swedish. This is the standard character set in most PostScript Type 1 fonts from Adobe.

Hi Nitro,

If the language are in french I'am maybe able to help you, let me know !

Nope, the client only asked for Polish, Czech and now Swedish. These languages have very crazy characters.

Lucian,

Swedish is not that crazy really, just "å", "ä" and "ö" which are all part of the standard West European set. The CE is separate though. Depending on how fast you need it and what the budget is, I would consult Linotype for license part, and then get help from for example Filip Blazék to make the actual signs needed for Polish and Czech.

Btw, Budapest is a bueatiful city. I had the opportunity to work there for 6 month, back in '93. I often think back on that great time! I have to get back agin some day.

The linotype version above should have all the necessary diacritics for the languages you need. You may have to combine them yourself though.

well we bought the entire font package, the cd version, as soon as we get it, probably modify it and add the special characters, cant think of anything else.

we need the fonts by friday the latest.

I got the font.

Can anyone help me out to modify it?
I don't think it's rocket science. :)

Thanks.

Hello,

As far as I know, Rotis's EULA does not allow for any modifications by the user to the fonts. If you purchased these fonts from Linotype, please contact our sales department at info@linotype.com. They can give you definitive answers. Also, they could discuss with you more possibilities about commissioning a custom version with the glyphs you need.

Thanks,
