(x) "Giant Eagle" supermarket logo - (similar to) Magnesium {Marc O}

Can anyone ID the font used by the Giant Eagle supermarket company? It's been bugging me for a while.

Small logo here: http://www.gianteagle.com/media/HomePage/ge_logo.jpg

and on signage outside a store: http://www.comfortrol.com/images/giant-eagle.jpg

Any thoughts?

The width and overall effect remind me of Magnesium, although the specific details aren't particularly close:

Gill Sans Extra Bold or Ultra Bold will get you in the neighborhood...

My guess is that it's custom, as most logos are. Marc's suggestion of Magnesium is good, and I also found Fremantle Black as another possible alternative. The G is not as rounded and closed as the GIANT EAGLE logo, but the strokes are uneven and at least the G is the right style of 'jaw'.
