Hi again:

Here are there three images of fonts that I’m curious about but don’t know what they are.

The first is for TASCHEN. I’m looking the numbers ‘25’ in this.
BTW… The other TASCHEN fonts are set in Scala Sans, HF&J Didot, and Inserat.

Second is the numerals for a book by erberto carboni. Text is set in Bauer Bodoni but again its those funky numbers I’m looking for!!!

Last is the Phaidon book “fashion today”. I thought something by HF&J- but nope.

Thanks for all the helps,

Mikey :-)

Clarendon Bold for #1 (Taschen’s 25th Anniversary Program 2006)

“fashion today” also looks like a heavy weight of Clarendon.

Those ball terminals on that Taschen font are super hot.

Eben Sorkin> Aren’t they?! I love them too. They are very friendly to the eye. The same reaction we have to reading something set in century schoolbook.

Hi guys…

Thank you all for your answers. I would have never considered Clarendon. Its one of those staid classics that when put in the hands of the right artist becomes exciting and unusual.

You like Clarendon? Check Oxtail. ;^)

BTW I’m quite positive the “erberto carboni” numerals are hand drawn.

Thanks Yves… Oxtail is pretty cool but bummer about the carboni numerals though. I kinda knew they were hand-done but I was hoping they weren’t.

Thanks,

Mikey
