How about something translucent? Like a heavy vellum?

Yupo is pretty sexy. It comes in heavy translucent weights that resemble vellum but take embossing well and ar edamn near indestrictable.
But being a non-porous paper-like polymer film, it requires special handling and not every printer is equiped for it.
