Art Deco Olympic Games Berlin 1936 poster type

garden

Probably hand drawn. We might find something similar.

P.S. I love the posters from the Berlin olympics. There's also that other one with the horse and that delicious geometric sans face.

probably. anything similar :D. does it resembles to something?

p.s never saw that with horse...

Finding a splayed M might be the clincher. I wonder if Red Rooster doesn't have something similar.

If i could find something bigger :D to recreate it :)

You might like Mark Simonson's Goldenbook.

nice:)

Rudolf Koch's Marathon is very similar.

Here's Ute Harder's revival:

This is the one I was talking about. It's hand-lettered too I think.

The first poster's lettering reminds me of Schneidler Initials, the basis of Jason Castle's Shango.

The others with the sans lettering remind me of Optima, which I know was designed later, or one of Koch's lineales from the 30's, like Offenbach (see Jaspert for a sample).
