Searching for an Elegant, Cursive Font a Floral Designer

fantrom

hi there,

I'm a newbie to the this board and need some advice from you Typography gurus.

I need an elegant, cursive and organic font for a Floral Designer. He's looking for a free-flowing, modern font that would have some kind of floral feel to it.

His target clients (Donna Karan, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Barney's NY, etc) would be found in magazines such Martha Stewart Weddings and W Magazine.

He creates the Floral Arrangements for high-profile clients events such as weddings and events.

Thanks a million...

or you can always commission a new design from many of the fine folks here at typophile.

I also recommend you cruise thru the Script ID Guide for ideas

Thank You for the post so far.

Great resources for me to study.

Keep them coming folks...

Coquette hits that target audience beautifully.

Or the ubiquitous Kursivschrift.

Just about anything by Robert Leuschke would fit the bill.
Especially Mea Culpa or Passions Conflict -- and, oh too many others to mention.

I'm quite fond of Chanson d'Amour these days.

Or try Zaner, one of the 10 most popular fonts this past year at myfonts

Note that Coquette works very, very well with Neutraface should you need a sans to pair it with.

oooOOOOh! Chanson! I guess my recommendations were taking the "organic" a little more to heart.

I'm not sure Kursivschrift could be called "ubiquitous", but it certainly has gained popularity since Martha's peeps used it for Blueprint.

Great suggestions for me to explore...

again thank you for the assistance guys and gals.
