(x) Glen Street Theatre - custom font {Paul Ross (self)}

skyrocket

Hello folks,
I've looked through the archives and no-one seems to have asked this question yet. I am trying to identify the typeface used by the Glen Street Theatre company here in Sydney, Australia. It is used throughout their website here...

Thanks & regards

Looks like this could be found on T-26 ...

I looked at T-26 under techno, but no luck. Also tried dafont and larabie. But look again, sometimes I'm blind.

Strange thing is, I could've sworn that we've had this ID before. Been looking the better part of this afternoon.

It's very similar (but not a match) for FF Trademarker Light

Karen/Yves/Sean,
Thank you for looking. I too have spent a long time looking for this one. I now have a feeling it is a specially commissioned job. I am contacting the thatre directly to ask them as well and will post up their reply. It has quite an interesting/unusual look though doesn't it?

OK - I've done it again. This is a specially commissioned typeface and not one that is commercially available. I have just had an email from the designer and it was done especially for the Glen Street Theatre re-branding campaign a couple of years ago. The designer is Mark Gowing http://www.markgowing.com/ Sorry for putting anyone to any trouble. The typeface has no name and may become commercially available in a couple of years.

No need to apologize for posting this beauty. It works
incredibly well in combination with their logo and its
deconstructed elements. Very clever.
Mes compliments au chef.
