(x) High-contrast modern serif w/ Balls! - ITC Firenze (pre-digital) {Yves}

Hello. I’m looking for a match on this one. Carousel is close, but not close enough. Seems like I remember it from an old Letraset book or something? Help me out!

Pre-digital ITC Firenze fat face

Bald Cond.

You are just too fast :)

Which btw, closest you could buy at one time (digitized) would have been sold by Bitstream - as Firenze ITC Normal.

Gotta be really fast here to get an ID credit. :^P

ITC Firenze was also digitized by Image Club in it’s pre-acquisition days. It’s on their old Letterpress CDs before about 1996 (which I have). I found one reference to an alias of ’Florence’ for this, which is what ’Firenze’ means, but figured this might only lead to bootleg fonts.

BTW, my old Letraset catalog doesn’t show Firenze, but it does show ITC Fat Face, which is similar, but not identical. (Odd that you used ’fat face’ to describe it Yves.)

Stephen - I actually looked for this font in your ball terminals article but the closest I came up with was Carousel.

FirenzeITC can be found on (older version?) CorelDraw CDs.
