Any great figurative logos come to mind?

new2me

Hi all,

I'm starting to do a peer review of logos that feature the human form.

Anything memorable come to mind?

The company I'm working with is a handyman who is looking to make a move to becoming a builder/contractor.

Thanks in advance!

Logolounge.com and the books have sections specific to this. I don't think Logopond does however.

http://www.identityarchives.com/ has a search tool based on keywords. They don't have a huge database yet, but it's growing.

There's a search at http://www.brandsoftheworld.com (but it's based on the name of the logo.) At least you get a scalable EPS to work with from them.

For retro logos with caricatures these books are pretty good:

Character Trademarks

British Trademarks

I have them both - he has other trademark compilations.
