It sounds like biography of whole rajpurohit community :) but interesting.

Does your intended website have a particular look or identity? For example, is the site going to echo any aspect of traditional or modern indian graphic design culture in any way? The name itself might support your intended identity? Perhaps you could post some screen shots of the pages.

You have a great name, why not use that?

I'd vote for Satyapography....

I have to agree with David that satya.com is a good idea. URLs should be direct and simple. I sort of like satyapography.in, but I think that complex wordplays have no real place in URLs, they just end up being to confusing. Peoples' minds will revert to the real words, and then they will type in satyatypography.in instead, and then be angry when the URL doesn't work.

Although, I actually sort of like satyatype.in and satya-type.in…

teafortype.com is really cute, but it sounds a bit too parlor type…

typeindia.in is actually really good, but would be a better URL for an India-wide typographic portal than a personal website.

A slight variation that may be more straight forward and has less potential for confusion could be:

teafortype.com is nice as well. It is a little playful, but if you think of having tea with someone as a time to sit, talk and listen, then it is also honest it could signify your openness to discussion, etc.

A short name, and it doesnt have to say in the adress what you do, you will eventually load the name with the right stuff anyway..

I think that it is best to have both you country address AND .com. That way, people who enter in your URL thinking it has a .com address will be redirected. It helps people find you better.

agree with Goran, you will eventually get bored of weird, funny addresses and you'll wish you had adopted a simple and short name instead. Plus Satya is a beautiful name, I don't know if it's a common name in India but from here it sounds sexy and exotic.
