(x) Marie Antoinette movie poster - Univer Cond (treated), MT Grotesque Cond {Mike Y, Skylar}

blank

What's the sans used on in Marie Antoinette's credits and marketing materials?

it looks like Trump Gothic West Italic.

I think it might be Univers Condensed that has been obliqued to an extreme.

The words "KIRSTEN DUNST" are not Univers, though. The ends of the S are too long.

Skylar

Reminds me of the swag on the cover of the Sex Pistols' album, "Nevermind the Bollocks." (Not the typeface, that is different, just the concept. Punk.)

Since "24 MAI" is set in Monotype Grotesque Condensed 2, I'm betting the rest of the poster is set in Extra Condensed.

Skylar

Thanks skyfein–you nailed it!

I misunderstood the font you were after. MT Groteque is definitely NOT the one used for 'MARIE ANTOINETTE'. The R is all wrong.

- Mike Yanega

You're right, Mike -- the title of the film is set in a different face, maybe Univers as you suggested? (Hard to tell with the distortion.)
