Hi guys,

I need help identifing the curvy magazine font.

Im also in the process of creating a print portfolio and looking to do a treatment on my name Chris. Can anyone recommend contemporary sans or san serif fonts with ligatures. In particular ligatures with letters in my name (ch, ri, is)

Thanks heaps!

Not so much ligatures as swashes, Chris; I think this is the old ITC Bookman Swash, – at least the ‘r’ is, the cap ‘C’ may be handrawn. Others may have better recommendations…

Has a few ch ligs you will have to adapt your own for the others though.

If you want a serif Esta has a couple of ch ligs as well

Without looking (sorry, no time), I’d bet that fonts designed by Spanish/Latin American designers would have interesting ch ligatures, since ch is a single character in Spanish.

Maybe something from Sudtipos?

There was a “Type Battle” here several months back where lots of ligatures were created. This may be of some help in gettingideas. Try searching for the thread here.
