I have found this font for download. I swear that it is pirated. Does anyone know what it is?

unknown

I have that as Scriptina by Apostrophic Labs.
Free font available on many free font sites.

unknown

Yes, I have that as well. But I am questioning the validity of that.

I know the designer (a.k.a. ‘Apostrophe’), and that is his font Scriptina, (I have an autographed poster of it on my wall), and it was intended as a free download, as were most of his font designs.

Mike, thank you for verification. I apologize if I came across as a skeptic.

I don’t know the story, Hrant, just that it exists, but probably Tiffany’s feeling is an echo from it—hence the reference is I hope helpful.

That lawsuit had to do with the common practice (which I vociferously opposed) of unauthorized distribution of proprietaryfonts via newsgroups, and had nothing to do with his own font designs, which I still believe are original works.

Yes I remember that story. Let’s not open that up again.

I am aware that Apostrophic has created fonts of his own design. However, I have obviously been colored by my past knowledge of him.

If Scriptina is his own design and he wants it to be free that is up to him. I was simply doing a little research.

Thanks!
