custom lettering for the main titles, i'm sure. for absolute answers, please post an image so we can know exactly which type/lettering you're referring to?

The Return of Jafar is definitely hand-lettered but Ondine is close

As for Aladdin - may be hand-lettered too but you could try searching for Arabian at myfonts

Pattyfab,
Thank you. Ondine is going to work just fine and I already had it in my collection.

Yes, these are hand-drawn but there must be something close.
I am looking for fonts like these samples:
King of Thieves and Return of Jafar.
Here is a sample.
Thanks.

FYI- while on the topic of typefaces used by or inspired by Disney studios, you might visit [link removed by moderator] where many of the fonts used have been identified.

Attention Moderators --
I'm not certain if this is site considered OK by moderators since there are some references to freeware versions, but for the most part they are very deligent about directing you to appropriate commercial font sites to purchase download.

Everybody,
Thank you for all help.
Bailiwick

Actually some of that is Ondine - the Robin Williams line for example

Norbert, I poked around and it seems to me they have taken the time to link to the appropriate sites. If anyone does notice a link on this site linked to by Norbert for something shady please let a moderator know. Thanks.

Ack. Strike that I had to remove the link Norbert.

Thanks, Tiffany,

Sorry, I should have looked deeper, but it was quite a long extensive list of typefaces used in all sorts of locations and uses by Disney Studios.

No sweat, Norbert. You flagging your own post was more than enough and very helpful, THX.

Yes. No problem, Norbert. It really was a long list and the problems didn't arise until the end. Thank you for flagging your comment.
