Sans from "Masculin Feminin” French film (Jean Luc Godard)

J. Kitzmiller

Whoa now, I think this may be my first Typophile post! *breathes deep*

I was recently watching "Masculin Feminin" by Jean Luc Godard and noticed this awwesome font scattered throughout.

I'va been looking around (google, whatthefont, et al.), but havent been able to figure out what it is, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Merci!

This appears to be hand lettered. Check the irregularities and the slight inconsistencies between identical characters.

ahh what a bummer. What the font came up with Neuzeit Grotesk Black, which is close, but I feel like there must be something closer.

I think you might be right though, now that I look at the inconsistencies here:

Thanks for the help :)

Speaking of Godard. I like these titles too.

ahh not quite what I was after with the original, but very nice as well-- downloaded, thx :)

I like that Bande À Parte lettering too - so suprised nobody has made these into fonts yet! (if they havent).
