Can I get your Opinion on this Typography Clock I Designed?

Datura513

HI all, I'm new to the forum. Yay fellow typographers!!! We are such a rare special breed. Anywho, can I get your opinions on this What Type Is It? Type clock I just designed. I'm selling it on cafepress.com/513shopstop

Bonus challenge: Name all the typefaces used!

Thanks!

really cool idea. i like it.

A bit too busy for me. But nice idea.

Is there a reason why the 12 is floating so high? If so I missed it.

Sorry - The very nature of the design insprires bad puns.

Nice clock, but I agree it is a little busy and a little corny. Not that that is a bad thing, depending on the audience. It has sort of a comfortable dated feel - if anyone can make sense of that.

Similarly, a 24-hour Type Clock can also be designed with my Flowers to display different types in 4 or 5 sizes proportional to the concentric Letter-Wheels?!

In this alternative, not only numbers but letters are also displayed.
Do not forget to exploit the Flower Center. And do not forget me?!

Happy Making and Selling 24-hour Flower-like Type Clock.

LOL Tim, High Noon!

Nice idea, but IMO it's way too busy.

Seems to me that the quadrants for 3 and 9 aren't aligning, I think I would prefer the numerals to be the same height, possibly excepting 12, 3, 6 and 9, about the height of the 4, have you tried spelling out the numbers in their various faces on a curve? What colour are the hands going to be?

Tim
Thanks for indulging my "humour":)

you can see the clock in it's "clock form" here: cafepress.com/513shopstop

The hands are black. I was just happy that when you buy the clock from the store the battery is included.
