(x) National Geographic logo - ITC Stone Sans (customised) {Yves}

Tal A

Hi :), Does anybody know what is the san serif used in the new national geographic Logo?
(not the old one with times Condenced)?

I can't place it, but Syntax and The Sans are similar.

Anyone else?

The R's in both those suggestions aren't quite the right form. The G, R and C are about the only diagnostic ones in these words.

I would pick Formata Condensed, although I wouldn't be surprised if it was custom designed for the NGS.

ITC Stone Sans. Close the P, customise the R and squoosh a little.

Just for the archives: Takeshi-san discovered the name as NatGeo Sans from a PDF-file.

Nice one. Thanks for the extra info, Rainer.

Now where are those archives?... (goes wandering off in the building)
