Mercury Automobiles - Mariner, Mountaineer, etc.

Any idea what face is being used on the rears of recent Mercury models? Can't find great pictures online, but it's a pretty sweet sans...

Thanks,
--Michael.

ummm, Michael...

you want answers AND you want us to do the legwork? Dude, cut down on the hobbies and give the other folks here a little respect...

get it?

any chance this is what you're looking for? it may seem like a tongue-in-cheek response, but it actually looks similar to my foggy memory (I don't pay much attention to Mercury automobiles these days).

Also fairly unrelated: I'm actually creating a website dedicated to auto badges and emblems which will eventually include this sort of information. In the meantime, there's Chromeography for the classic stuff.

OK, OK... :-)

Added photos to the first post.

Hope that helps,
--Michael.

Naw. Top stroke on John Sans 'E' has an angled end. Freight Sans and Proxima Nova are close. Still need better images, because all caps sans serifs are difficult.

I think you're onto something with Proxima Nova... Still looking for better pics...

I wonder if Mark Simonson has licensed Proxima Nova to GM lately...?
