Erm… I’ve got another tricky question — does anyone know who where members of the jury for the very first Letraset International Typeface Competition in 1973 ? The winning entries were Bombere by Carla Bombere (where is she now ?), Magnificat by Friedrich Peter (how come this incredible design is NOT available as a software font ?) and Stilla by François Boltana.
Thank you very much

You might need someone with this catalogue or rather the insert. There has been discussion about Magnificat on Typophile, I can’t track it down at the moment.

Oh thank you very much, Tim — it happens that I do have this book, but it’s so packed with information that I’m never able to remember what’s exactly in it. Therefore, I rarely use it, which is indeed a shame.

You are welcome, I’ve got to say that is a very obscure/esoteric question can I ask why you want to know?
Tim

Because I’ve just written an article about the legacy of Letraset and dry-transfert lettering for French graphic design monthly étapes.
