Knob Creek Kentucky Straight Bourbon logo

Had a client refer to the Knob Creek logo for type feel but I am having difficulty identifying the font/fonts. The KNOB part looks like

Anzeigen Grotesk:

And the CREEK part looks like a million and 1 fonts. It also feels a little squished.

Thoughts? Could this be one font's condensed and extended versions?

Cheers.

probably Akzidenz Grotesk.

Bold Condensed and Bold Extended

which works for the "r" but the "c" is throwin' me.

You are correct, sir. Didn't notice that.

It's almost as if they fattened the medium extended version of Akzidenz Grot. beyond the bold extd. version. The counter on that "r" is really tight.

AKA Annonce Grotesque is also similar but still no match for the C and requires a stroke.

Yes, CSA. That packaging is almost certainly them.

KNOB is almost Tanek, and CREEK is Bigford

It looks a lot like Knockout to me, but the H&F-J site seems to be down, so I can't check.

It's not Knockout. "KNOB" could be some weight of Niles.
