Porsche has a fairly extensive design group.

It is like the person who asked what font was used for Brother Bears movie by Disney. Disney makes theme park rides from their movies. They can afford to hire a designer to create a unique look that they can market and sell. The same is true for any big auto manufacturer or any other entertainment company.

btw, the Brother Bear font might just be slightly modified Glasgow...

Yeah, BJ, I pointed the MyFonts inquirer to Glasgow as a
close substitute two days ago. No reply.

Here is the Font Forest website. I don't think it's changed
in many years and the 'Order' links are to to defunct sources.

I think Porshe can afford to have custom logos made...

Well, they probably had a custom typeface made, not
the separate logos. Here's a nice example of another
automobile company who commissioned such a typeface.
