I was recently in the nation's capital (Ottawa, that is) where they have scenic parkways for the mandarins' commuting, and commercial vehicles are prohibited theron. Prohibiting SUVs would be nice too, Tiff.

The one in the picture costs $100,000, needs 2 parking spaces, and gets only 8 mpg. With today's gas prices, they are not selling too well :-)

now motivated to reduce US dependency on oil
because they hate Arabs.

Besides gas guzzling, I just don't enjoy the view. Driving a small car in a city full of SUVs is a nightmare.

So, I guess I found this thread a little late. :) I had a couple of people e-mail me about this and I did try to enter it. At the time I was working at a design firm and we entered the contest as the firm. I couldn't get anyone interested, and ultimately didn't have the time to scrape anything together.

So, does anyone know what the winner's final project looked like? All I found was this link on Google.
