Century Schoolbook?

I think this might be a custom New Century Schoolbook, IKEA property.

One of my first guesses, but the wedge serif on the lc a is not there. :(

Sorry, I shouldn't edit! I'm sure I read somewhere that IKEA had New Century Schoolbook redrawn custom along with Futura, I'll see if I can find out.

I downloaded the IKEA catalogue PDF with the fonts embedded, this is what I get in font properties, IKEA-Serif.

I'm 99% sure it's a custom New Century Schoolbook.

Hmm, some great sleuthing there. No wonder it's not so easy to pin down...

Next question I suppose would be, are there any fonts out there with a similar combination of wedge serifs and ball terminals?

Which classification would this fall under anyway?

I'd suggest that it partly falls into slab serif like Clarendon.
