BTW, Goryune* means lion cub. And it just happens to have been
the name of Mesrob Mashdots’s top disciple, who went on to write
his biography and detail the creation of the Armenian alphabet.
So whether he ends up a jock or a bookworm we’re covered. :-)

* The usual transliteration is “Goryoun”, and “Gorune”
is more common in some countries (like France) but we
decided on the Google-unique “Goryune” last minute.

reply is that’s just an -unfortunate- coincidence. :-)

Stuart, Hrad is indeed delighted… although you can see the
twinge of ambivalence… The trick I guess is to get the older
kid to help with the newborn, to avoid too much jealousy.
Hmmm, you think Hrad can start driving Goryune to
preschool in three years? ;->

The trick is, make sure you spend enough one on one time with the older kid before jealousy rears its ugly head - This will temper the level it may reach let’s say - You will see first hand how passive aggresive behavior develops in the coming 3-6 months …

Then they’ll be perfect little play buddies - Till then just as before - sleep when the baby does …

lateral interfernce, aka sibling rivalry, is unavoidable; with proper space craft and contrast manipulation it contributes to effective cross-sibling binding—unless Hrad asserts his cap height…just keep a parafovea on ’em.
