I’m sure I have this in my old Letraset catalogue (at work;( )

The name Marvin springs to mind.

’Acadian’ and ’Edison’ may be alternates
( Or even ’Kilkenny’, by fellow Typophile Paul Hunt )

Dav

Thanks for both responses, Acadian is indeed pretty similar. I looked through a newer Letraset catalogue and didn’t see anything similar, or Marvin; Richard, if you happen to be at work next to the catalogue and think of this post, I’d love to hear.

You bastard!

I’ve got an old Letraset catalogue. Richard was close. It’s “Manuscript Caps” - located directly above “Marvin” :) The ’S’ has been modified / is an alternate not in my book.

Hi Lex, just in the process posting this image

I was close!

I remembered where else I had seen it, on the (original UK) cover of Black Sabbath’s eponymous first album in 1970, complete with alternate S

Richard

’Spire’, I dont quite get your ’You bastard!’ remark
Do you dare to explain ? Thanks

Dav

Dav:

It was a reference to a recurring joke on the animated TV show South Park.

There is a character named Kenny who often gets killed in a humorous and grisly manner (only to be resurrected without explanation in the next episode). Whenever Kenny is killed, the following dialogue ensues between his friends:

Stan: Oh my God! You killed Kenny!
Kyle: You bastard!

Sorry about that.

Edward

Noo, I am sorry, I get it now :)
’Kill Kenny’, Aarrgghh, I didnt even think about that
