does anyone know of a site that i could reference to create my own job specifications form. i'm looking for information that is pivotal to ask clients (1) to save run-around time and (2) so they have a very, very pristine idea of what is expected. thanx for any suggestions.

I don't know of any sites, but a very useful book would be, Graphic Artists Guild Handbook: Pricing & Ethical Guidelines (Graphic Artists Guild Handbook of Pricing and Ethical Guidelines).
AIGA also has forms.

The RGD provides many forms, however you will have to adjust the sale tax to reflect your area.
