I’ve created a face and everything is there, but I simply can’t get the accented characters to show up on Windows. The face is being output simply as a ttf file. Also, I’m using OSX Tiger (English) and the user machine is Windows (French).
Since I’m new to all of this, what should I be looking for to tackle this problem?

Are you generating the font in Unicode mode?
Did you correctly assign Unicode values to the accented characters?
Yeah, they are assigned properly.
I’m not sure what I did exactly but I got them to work - no problems. I output them as Open Type and all went well.
Now, I need to figure out why this works and ttf doesn’t. I guess I should just start reading the manual.
