(x) Wallpaper* - Amplitude, Big Caslon, Typ 1451, Le Corbusier, Burin Sans, and Plantin Schoolbook {Stephen}

Hi. I’m sure someone has already asked about this, but the search function is not working for me.

I need to know the typefaces used in Wallpaper* mag for a university project I have. The inital assumption was that it is Meta of some variety, but I’ve noticed the lowercase gs in Wallpaper have a closed loop but in Meta they are open.

I am stuck, WhatTheFont was no help either. Any help would be appreciated! If anyone knows the serif face used as well, that would be awesome.

Thanks

Nicole

Haven’t seen it in a few months, but they have used Amplitude, Big Caslon, Typ 1451, Le Corbusier, Burin Sans, and Plantin Schoolbook.

And here’s some analysis of a 2003 issue of Wallpaper typography.

FYI - Google will limit a search to any site. Type:

site:typophile.com wallpaper

Err I am a spaz. I tried Google earlier by just typing typophile.com:wallpaper.

Anyway, thank you! You are my new hero.
