FontLab Studio 5 for Windows is likely to be released in a few days to co-incide with the ATypI Helsinki conference. At the same conference, preview versions of FontLab Studio 5 for Mac and Fontographer for Mac OS X will be presented. The final version of the Mac products should be released in several months from now.

What about system requirements? The same as before? (Mac OS X 10.2 or higher; what about Windows Vista?)

For Windows version it will be Win XP/2K. It will work with 98/ME but we do not recommend it. Vista is not required, but is certainly supported.

Detailed info for the Mac version will be given in Helsinki next week.

Just out of curiosity: if you do not recommend it, why do you still support Windows 9x?
