Gene Gable posted this article and I thought you'd enjoy the type/lettering displayed

Chris one of the happiest accidents that happened in Manhattan was when a building in the '30s they had to open a wall to make renovations and found a WPA mural, perfectly preserved. What some genius decided was to create a new wall in front of the mural. Its impressive.

My old high school, Brooklyn Tech. had a large central hall which was covered on all sides by a grand WPA mural done in 1934 by Maxwell B. Starr.

Even my town post office has a great WPA mural painted in the lobby. Many states list there WPA murals as this WPA Art in Massachusetts site.

Here's the WPA murals by US states link.

Yes, I'm old, but I'm back in style!

Some really cool type there.

I see we have a visitor from the Ming dynasty :-)

Chris he will be fine as long as he leaves his horse and his sword outside.

The Library of Congress has a massive online collection of WPA posters.

As noted at the H&FJ blog, there's now a very nice way in to the LoC holdings that oldnick mentioned six years ago.
