Ooh, some really nice ones, this time..

I especially like 24.004, 24.007 and hmm,
it seems i somehow looove 24.008.. :-)
( The handdrawn one.. )

i also really like the letraset one..

24.009 really looks like .. a giant crucifix.. i’m not sure if i’m about that..

What does the small text on 012 say?

007 is cool! but i

I’d wear 24.005 — good ol subtlety…quiet confidence and style

on another topic: whats with this naming-the contest-on-the-actual-shirt-thing that keeps happening. that’s just bizarr to be wearing a t-shirt that says the t-shirt was part of a competition.

the fact that this is a contest should have nothing to do with the design. imagine Christian Dior starting labelling couture with graphics front and center stating its part of the “fall collection”

or a poster that said “poster” under the topical issue title of the poster.

I like 012 — it’s got that old-time Type ID Pop Quiz flavor!

008 is really nice, but I see the Funny Garbage logo.

Now I like 012 a lot.

I’d like it even better if the key were on the back. It’s provocative and more elegant without the key on the front.

Chesh, good idea. At the bottom of the back, that way you could bend over* and have people read it without having to go totally upside down — good human interface design!

* Don’t go there…

When do we get to start guessing which design is whose?

Now.

The Letraset one is cool but how many people remember Letraset. I’m old enough to but how about a 20 something year old. I have heard statistics that make me shake my head in terms of kids not knowing history. Like some kids never knew a time before the internet. Dan

12 is gorgeous. Easily my favorite so far. I do really like the idea of having the key on the back though. Would make the shirt perfect imo.

…i’m turning 21 in a month and i know about Letraset.. i remember its presence in my childhood.. [thanks to my father]

i agree with Bryan that this difference
of white space creates a restless tention,
though i guess the designer wanted
to separate the two synthetic words
of typophile.

So, this restless has a cause
and i would “forgive” it. I also believe
that 012 is the winner of the tees above.

Very nice the 24.012, one of my favourits until now.

24.002 — Sorry, I created a zoomed in view, but it
didn’t post… The small text is printed upside down and is a
an answer key to the samples.

Tanya, tru’ dat.

Yeah, Chesh, 24.0012 is the type id quiz personified.

There are some real standouts among these. I’d be proud
to wear almost any of them.

(Do you mean this Funny Garbage logo? Similar maybe,
but not deal breaker.)

That Letraset-tee rocks. Hooray!!!
