hey everybody, wondering if you had any ideas of what typeface or similar is used in the Pike Place Market sign in Seattle, I know it's something Art Deco, and I have Mostra by Mark Simonson, but it's something else, any leads would be appreciated!

(x) Pike Place Public Market Center sign - various similar {gang}
I'm betting it's custom lettering, but here are some other suggestions:
Neutraface Display - House Industries - http://www.houseind.com
Richmond - Jim Parkinson - http://www.typedesign.com/fonts/riclt.html
Metro (Geometric 415) - several vendors
The market opened in 1907 - not sure if the sign was first set up at that time. Some pics...

As you can see there are several styles.

If it's the red neon you want I think Neutraface Condensed will get you closest. Also: Blakely
