(x) Harley Davidson logo - custom designed (similar to RR Railroad Gothic or RR Block Gothic) {Yves}

Hi

Can anyone identify the nearest font to the white "harley davidson" text on this logo? We are creating name patches and would like to use a similar font.

Thanks for your help.

We had that one before (twice even), and came to the conclusion that it must be custom designed, but it does look a bit like RR Railroad Gothic or RR Block Gothic.

If you just need the logo in eps format, try here.

Is there an echo in the TIB? Lots of the same old same old

The F.A.Q. may not be the obvious first place to look when someone is thinking about posting an I.D. request. Maybe there ought to be a separate page (listed at the top) called something like "Most Requested Font IDs - Look Here First."

(Now that I think of it, we don't really know when someone looks in the F.A.Q. and then doesn't post an I.D. request because they got their question answered... Maybe it's working fine most of the time.)

Another good option is HTF's Knockout Series

I didn't mention the FAQ in this thread, did I? I might've in every other thread though... :-D ;-)

I think it already is a vast improvement that it's sticky and highly visible at the top of the list. I will add a "How to survive the Type Identification Board in 10 easy steps", specifically aimed at first-timers. But not before Typecon.
