A cool new font being used by Details magazine. Any ideas on what it is?

Not quite but awfully close. The R doesn't match.

Yea, not quite. There's numerous differences, one unique one being the W

It's September from Hubert Jocham

and it's exclusive for Details.

Wow. great work! I don't know how you found this so quick.
Dang, it's not available. Oh well.

I do appreciate it.

Neat trick - typophile search.

This one comes up sort of often.

Just curious Patty, how is that done? My Search field is unusable with a "BETA" crossed through it.

You do a site search on Google. Type in the word(s) you're looking for and site:typophile.com

Some of the links will be dead because typophile is still under construction, but you can often find what you want just in the headers.

Wow PattyFab ...that's fab.

Thanks so much for your help today!

Some of the links will be dead because typophile is still under construction,

Also, if you click on the "Cached" you'll be able to watch snapshots of dead pages. For example, here's a dead link, and here is its corresponding cache. Neat, innit?

Great, helpful advice. Thanks.

I feel like a nincompoop but where do you click on "cached"?

btw I downloaded the neat little bit that puts the typophile/google search into your toolbar, which speeds up the process. But I can't remember which thread I found it on.

All right now I'm a bigger nincompoop, Cached is in Google.
I was looking on the dead link. D-oh.

Don't worry, when Chesh taught me that trick at first I didn't find the "Cached" link neither. For anybody reading this thread and still not sure what this is all about, it's to the right of each long url under the description of the Google hits.

And here's Grant Hutchinson's bookmarklet/favelet for easy searching on Typophile.
